As part of the Power Electronics course within the Master’s Degree Program in Electrical Engineering, on Friday, October 24th, starting at 8:30 AM, a workshop-seminar will be held in the Computer Lab located inside the Electrical Systems wing of the DESTEC Department.
The event will be conducted by technical staff from Plexim, the company that develops the PLECS software environment for the simulation of circuits, power converters, and electric drives.
The workshop will provide an overview of the software’s features, with hands-on examples that participants will be invited to reproduce on their own laptops. The session will also demonstrate the software’s potential for experimentation using dedicated hardware and tools for automatic code generation, enabling the implementation of control logics and the emulation of real systems.
The event will also be available via live streaming on Microsoft Teams and is open to all interested participants.
