The DETAILLs laboratory of the University of Pisa originated from the European Erasmus+ project “DETAILLs – DEsign Tools of Artificial Intelligence in Sustainability Living LabS,” which is dedicated to the use of Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) for the design of sustainable products through the development of Living Labs. DETAILLs is a living lab that brings together students, universities, and companies to learn how to apply AI and Generative AI techniques in the development of new products, with an approach focused on sustainability and responsible innovation.
DETAILLs also promotes dissemination and training events dedicated to the role of AI in new product development, and it has contributed to the activation of the University of Pisa’s transversal course “Artificial Intelligence for Sustainability,” taught by Prof. Filippo Chiarello.
